You begin face down on the floor of a white room.

You get up. Ten by ten tiles underfoot, and mirrors on all four walls.

One door in each wall — four in total.

Someone is in the mirror. It is you.

──────────────

Nothing is explained

──────────────

No objective is displayed. No completion condition, no progress, no timer,

no health, no inventory, no map. Nothing appears on screen at all.

There are no hints. There is no tutorial. Nothing in this game will ever

tell you where to go next.

You will not be told why you are here, or how to get out.

You start walking anyway.

──────────────

Two controls

──────────────

The stick at the bottom left — walk. Push it and you go: forward,

backward, sideways.

The ◉ at the bottom right — action.

Press it at a door and you reach out, the door opens, and you step through

into the next room.

That is everything you need to remember.

No jump, no run, no crouch, no items, no menus.

But what ◉ does changes from room to room. In some rooms nothing happens.

In others there is one place where it works. In others there is one moment.

In others, pressing it is the wrong thing to do.

None of this is written down.

──────────────

On mirrors

──────────────

At first the mirrors are honest. You walk, and the reflection walks.

You stop, and it stops.

Then, gradually, the two stop matching.

Things exist only in the reflection. Things are missing only from the

reflection. The mirror stops including you.

None of it is explained. What you saw is what happened.

──────────────

On sound

──────────────

Your own footsteps. The sound of a door under your hand. Air that changes

from room to room. Music. Someone's shoes, getting further away.

With no text on screen, sound does much of the work.

Headphones are recommended.

──────────────

Before you play

──────────────

- No text, no subtitles, no dialogue. Playable in any language.

- Progress saves automatically at certain points. Close the app and

continue from CONTINUE on the title screen.

- Plays offline. No account and no sign-in required.

- No network, no ads, no in-app purchases, no tracking.

──────────────

Please note

──────────────

Contains moving coloured lights and flashing in dark scenes.

Please take care if you are sensitive to flashing light.

Uses a first-person camera that rotates and falls.

Take breaks if you are prone to motion sickness.

──────────────

There is a way out. There is no reason.

The hitbox on the doors is a little too ridiculous.  If you're angled slightly away, or if you're at the wrong edge of the door, or even if you're centered on the door, the action button doesn't do anything.  And since there's no doorknobs, you can't even tell where the hitbox is; I spent a lot of time going "but all these doors are locked" before accidentally stumbling over the right pixel.
